Sustainable Restaurant Showcase

It can be difficult to precisely define what is meant by a ‘sustainable restaurant’ since there are so many components that should be considered when creating sustainable food. This page lists some restaurants and cafés in and around Cambridge which are committed to becoming more sustainable by sourcing their ingredients locally.

Sugar Smart UK

SUGAR SMART is a national campaign supported by the Jamie Oliver Food Foundation and Sustain to raise public awareness about the dangers of eating too much sugar on health and wellbeing. The aim is to help organisations and individuals to reduce the amount of sugar we all consume.  Anyone can pledge to become SUGAR SMART – from councils and schools to restaurants, hospitals and independent companies.
