Brown’s Field Cookery Workshops

Local chef, Sam Dyer, runs these free after-school cookery workshops, in which families can learn cooking skills, new vegetarian recipes and how to cook healthily on a budget. Different cookery skills are covered each week, along with various tips to eat in a more sustainable way. The families sit down together at the end of the cooking to enjoy their meal. Volunteers supervise play and craft activities to keep younger children entertained, allowing parents to better help their older children with cooking.

The workshops usually run as 6-week sessions throughout the year, on Mondays between 4.30pm and 6.30pm, and are funded by Cambridge City Council.
