CSF and Cambridge University Student Hub

CSF has worked closely with the Cambridge University Student Hub for several years, recruiting student volunteers and participating in their very helpful Social Innovation Programme. We are delighted that now we will be working even more closely with them to recruit students to our CSF Ambassadors scheme and also as regular volunteers for our ongoing Thyme to Cook Arbury family cookery project on Tuesdays .

The CSF ambassadors project, the brainchild of 2 of our former interns, Laura Schubert and Florence Best, recruits Cambridge University students on a termly basis to help at CSF events, promote CSF and sustainable food issues within colleges and departments, and work on projects of students’ choice, such as researching, writing posts for our blog or restaurant reviews, interviewing people within the sustainable food scene. The Thyme to Cook volunteering project is the outcome of the very helpful evaluation of the Arbury cookery workshops last term undertaken by the SIP students under the leadership of Minerva Lim, who is kindly running this project for us until June.
