March 16 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Join Professor Martin Jones and Dr Shreya Sinha to discover the ancient and modern practices of growing millets: from prehistoric beginnings of millet farming to today’s challenges faced by Indian small holders.

Once among the most widespread crops in the world, this seed’s popularity has declined in favour of wheat, maize and rice. Yet, these small-grain cereals are on track to make a comeback to our plates. Can this small seed make a big difference?
