Advance notice of the next Seedy Sunday! As ever, this is a chance to bring and swap self-saved seeds, exchange surplus bought seed, and take seeds in exchange for a small donation. If you don't have any spare seeds, don't worry, there are always plenty to go round. As ever, there'll be refreshments and cakes, and lots of stalls including seed merchants, bread makers, and community groups. Adults £2, free for children.

Films for our Future

February 4 - February 17

Films for Our Future is a season of inspirational films and discussions hosted by sustainability and environmental groups from Cambridge and nearby villages. There will be opportunities for film goers to share their thoughts and feelings about the film afterwards, and explore what action(s) they can do to be a part of a groundswell of hope and action towards creating a better future. CSF will have its own screening on Friday 9th at the Edge Café.  More here.

CSF Sustainable Food Fair for local businesses

SUGAR SMART launch event

Zero food waste week

ARU are already excellent managers of food waste and are well on their way to achieving zero food waste to landfill with an efficient composting system in the kitchen.  One of the remaining issues is separation of plate waste at the end of meals in the restaurant.
