Madingley Hall Institute of Continuing Education has achieved a Silver Award for their commitment to serving customers healthy and affordable food, for using Fairtrade products and for effective waste management. Madingley Hall’s achievements were recognised on 2nd March 2017, at CSF’s Pledge and Award Scheme Launch Event.
Madingley Hall Institute of Continuing Education has also been awarded 2 stars from the Sustainable Restaurant Association in recognition of their use of locally produced, seasonal and ethically sourced ingredients and is also signed up to the Sustainable Fish City pledge.
Serving around 150 meals per day to conference clients and student diners, Madingley Hall makes sure to offer sustainable options. Examples of this include organic bread from the local Cobs Bakery and free range eggs from Suffolk.
