Brexit could mean big changes for bees. Following the vote to leave the EU, our government will be reviewing rules governing the use of pesticides in the UK.
This is an opportunity for the UK to become a world leader by adopting a new pesticide regime to protect bees and other pollinators.
Measures Pesticide Action Network UK (PAN UK) would like to see adopted include reduction targets, monitoring regimes and rewards for good practice. The organization is urging supporters to write to their MP calling for robust controls on pesticides to be put in place.
