Cambridge Sustainable Food will be working closely with the Cambridge City Council Recycling Team and other organisations on a Love Food Hate Waste campaign from April 2015 to end March 2015. Rebecca Weymouth-Wood of the City Council will be leading the campaign. There will be a number of high-profile events throughout the period. Cambridge Carbon Footprint has already organised a talk by charismatic speaker and food waste campaigner, Tristram Stuart, on May 21st, as part of the Eat Cambridge Festival during May. We want this to be a high-profile campaign, attracting the attention of local media and, to that end, we have proposed another Social Innovation Project challenge to Hub students for January, asking them to produce a media strategy for the campaign.
