Cambridge Carbon Footprint

CCF is a local registered charity, one of the founder members of Cambridge Sustainable Food. CCF aims to support people to live more sustainably, in particular by reducing their carbon footprint, and organises a number of events throughout the year to do this, including Open Eco Homes and various skillshares (e.g. cooking) and swaps.

bring-and-share meal copy “Our food footprints can make up a quarter of our personal carbon footprints (often higher than our home energy footprints) and there is great scope for reducing our footprint while still enjoying delicious meals! Together with the Transition Cambridge Food Group, CCF organised the very successful Food for a Greener Future conference in February 2014 and runs various food challenges throughout the year. The CCF website has a good resources section on food and you can read blog posts from food challenge participants. Members of CCF’s outreach team are always ready to run an enjoyable interactive food workshop for a range of audiences (contact us here).” Bev Sedley, Trustee
