Cambridge Sustainable Food has organised a number of projects to promote our aims, engage the community with food sustainability and raise awareness about our activities (including stalls at local events). You can find out more about the different projects by following the links below:
We are currently running free cookery workshops for families, funded through the Health Lottery – find out more about what’s going on and how to get involved.
CSF is also working on a very ambitious project to create a local Sustainable Food Hub. Read more about this here.
As part of the 2015 Eat Cambridge Festival, we challenged the chefs of local restaurants to come up with one dish on their menu which exemplified sustainable food.
As part of our Love Food Hate Waste campaign, we organise a festival for adults and children to raise awareness about food waste and encourage people to think creatively about how to avoid it! Visit the Pumpkin Festival website to find out what’s on this year, or read about our 2016 festival here.
