As part of Cambridge’s first Pumpkin Festival, Carine Henry, pediatric dietitian and member of the Cambridge Sustainable Food committee, hosted a special assembly at St Matthew’s Primary School on Norfolk Street. Carine spoke to the children about the sustainable food and the Pumpkin Festival, as well as the food waste message behind it. There was also a pumpkin waste recipe competition, judged by Carine and sponsored by the Cambridge Arts Theatre. The winners, pictured below in The Cambridge News, won tickets to see Cinderella, this year’s pantomime at the Theatre.
