Upcoming Volunteering Opportunities

The biggest upcoming event is …

The Cambridge Pumpkin Festival! This is a celebration of food and autumn, which creatively encourages us to think about the food we throw away. The festival returns for the third time from 20th-28th October 2017 (Autumn half-term), with events ranging from cookery workshops and fine dining, to a pop-up farmers’ market and kids’ disco soup.

The success of the festival is a result of the help of volunteers and there should be lots of fun events to help with. We will need volunteers to help spread the message of the need to reduce food waste, help with cookery workshops and kids’ activities, give out taster food, and photograph/film the festival, and would be hugely grateful to anyone willing to help out.

Here is a list of the volunteering opportunities during the Pumpkin Festival. We ask that the minimum amount of time donated for events is two hours on a one-off basis, but we would love it if you could do more than that and be able to help at more than one event.
