Meet local suppliers and have a fantastic family day out! Taste delicious food sourced from less than 50 miles away, take part in apple pressing, and enjoy music from the Steam-powered Rats! With plenty of activities for children too, this promises to be an enjoyable event.
We have a range of stallholders, all selling delicious local products. Waterland Organics / Cambridge Cropshare will be selling organically grown fruit and vegetables, and Darwin Nurseries will be selling vegetables alongside other products such as pickles. Plenty of baked goods, from bread to cakes, will be available from Bread on a Bike, Ali’s Baltic Bakes, Martha Rosie Bakes, the Moonbeam Farm Company and Radmore Farm Shop. Wobbly Bottom, Brick House Farm Produce and Radmore Farm Shop will be selling fresh meat or dairy products. Jams and chutneys will be provided by Auntie Allie Produce. Oils from Hillfarm Oils and Alkyona Limited, and beer and cider from Lord Conrad’s Brewery in Dry Drayton will also be on offer.
There will be plenty of food to eat on the day too, with WOUP serving vegetarian and vegan soups made from surplus vegetables, and Holy Schnitzels providing a range of Austrian inspired dishes. There will also be an indoor cafe with lots of delicious vegan food!
Kids’ activities lined up include pumpkin-mask-making, face painting, biscuit decorating, and leaf art! We will also have disco painting down by the riverside.
The event is being held at the Cambridge Museum of Technology on Sunday 23rd October from 11am to 4pm. There will be free entry to the museum on the day.
